Xeomin is a newer botulinium toxin type A product that is similar in natural to Botox and Dysport, that is used to temporarily reduce the appearance of facial wrinkles to give the skin a younger and more radiant look.

Xeomin was recently approved by the FDA and this product is completely free of additives. Xeomin can be used to treat all of the same areas as Botox and Dysport. It works similarly to Botox, since it targets the muscles that cause the wrinkles and temporarily slows them down. The effects of Xeomin can last longer than the results of Botox, since it does not contain the proteins that can limit the effectiveness of the toxin.

The cost of Xeomin is less than Botox, and the results will typically last longer. It cannot be used for every type of wrinkle though. Xeomin can be a stand-alone treatment or it can be used in conjunction with an injectable filler.
