An eyebrow lift, otherwise known as a forehead lift, will reduce the frown lines between your eyebrows and will soften any deep creases or wrinkles you have on your forehead. This is an effective treatment for someone who is looking to lessen the appearance of saggy skin between their eyebrows and their upper eyelids.
For this procedure, there will be a few small incisions made behind the hairline and an endoscope will be utilized. For most cases, local anesthesia with light sedation will be used or general anesthesia will be used. Either the whole eyebrow can be shaped and lifted, or just the end of the brow, depending on the desired outcome.
After having a brow lift, there may be some minor bruising and swelling on the forehead, and this may extend to the cheeks and eyelids. Cold compresses can be used to reduce any swelling after surgery. If there is any mild discomfort, oral pain medication can be used. Two days after the procedure, patients are able to wash their hair and 7-10 days after treatment, they can resume their normal daily activities.
